HKIS students in High School and Middle school took part in CNN's My Freedom Day standing up against human trafficking and modern-day slavery. Students participated in a Sweatshop Simulation hosted by Mekong Club, where they engaged in a simulation to experience aspects of what it is like to be under forced labor conditions. CNN news anchor, Kristi Lu Stout spoke with students at HKIS about what they learned in the simulation and asked them to share what freedom means to them.
