Overview
Join us for a weekend of learning with literacy consultants and authors Sara Ahmed, Kristin Ziemke, Dr. Kevin Wong, and Dr. Jan Burkins as they share the craft of teaching, reading, and writing. Engage in group breakout sessions, and refine your teaching skills in literacy.
During the 2-day conference, you will:
- Explore, rethink, and deepen your understanding of reading and writing practices
- Examine current research and shifts in literacy practices
- Analyze translanguaging strategies to promote inclusive communication
- Increase knowledge and application of digital literacies
- Explore the concepts of identity and Social Comprehension
