How has HKIS Impacted you?
Members from across the spectrum of the HKIS Community share how they’ve been impacted by their time at Hong Kong International School.
For students, HKIS has provided an environment that fosters their passions both in and out of school. Christine Lam ‘24 says “HKIS created a space that allows you to succeed in whatever you choose to.”
The teachers and faculty feel the same way. Ms Laura Pihowich explains that HKIS allowed her to build her professional career, as well as gave her the opportunity to work with passionate students.
For parents, they are thankful for HKIS’s focus on developing the whole child, and the constant support of teachers.
Even after graduating, HKIS continues to impact people’s lives. Alum Alessandro Bisagni ‘02 shares how a class he took in High School opened his eyes to environmental issues, which led to his career in environmental science and green buildings.
No matter who you talk to, there is a common theme- HKIS is a place that lets the whole community thrive and feel like they belong.
